This lady makes delicious food, part 2

As a follow-up to my last rather brown-nosey post about the culinary genius of Joanne Chang, I must gush about part of my lunch today, which is the soup pictured in the photo attached to this post. It is not only a glorious color, but it’s delicious! It’s not the special advertised on the website for today, but nevertheless, it’s very, very good: butternut squash with curry and coconut milk. Yum!

Edit: I also felt that it was important to include pictures of other recent yums.

Turkey, black forest ham, broccoli and cheddar stuffed bread from Flour Bakery, Central Sq.

This stuffed bread was part of my lunch today. It also came with a nice little heap of mixed greens and a perfectly-sized portion of balsamic vinaigrette in a little cup (no waste!). Their stuffed breads remind me of these “calzones” that were more like stromboli that we used to get at Roche Bros. when I was little.

Genmai fried rice from Myers + Chang

Red miso carrots from Myers + Chang

The other night, I forgot/remembered a little too late to snap pictures of our food at Myers + Chang, so here are some pretty unappetizing photos, haw haw! It makes their very delicious food look extremely gross!
